good morning all. I'm trying to find out the name of the main dealer/dealers in the Southampton area from 1986/1987...reason is looking to get original number plates and stickers made up for a new purchase

I'm guessing that would be Heddle and Deeks in Ferndown, later Chapplegate and now Porsche Centre Bournemouth (still in Ferndown, despite the name)

if you were to post this enquiry in the Southern (R17) forum, you may attract some useful answers from local members in that area. [;)]
Regards,

Clive

In the absence of a more useful reply, I suspect the answer will still be Heddle and Deeks or Chapplegate[sm=kiss.gif]

As a customer of that dealership for 30 years, Chris is 100% correct with Heddle & Deeks. In fact Brian Deeks still owns the property.

Chris, no reflection on your post intended. Just suggesting the OP transfer the question to R17 rather than the web/forum help section, which of course Peter has now done. [:)]

Hi Guys, you are correct but the spelling is, Heddell & Deeks. If I remember correctly, back in the day the dealers phone number was also on the plates, so 0202 510252 might be of help. Info taken from a range brochure I got from them which has their dealer stamp.
