Duxford iwm meet 09/02/2020

Larry and i might try and find a local pub or something for sunday lunch afterwards but i don’t know the area

Hi everyone, yes I'm planning to attend. Whilst I have been a member since 2015 this will be my first Group meeting and visit (No excuses, I know should have tried harder !!). Will look forward to it. Best regards.

Hi Helen,

It's on our calendar but I'll be checking the weather forecast a few days beforehand and then make the final decision.

Thanks Chris, i’ll be there what ever. I’ve booked into a hotel in Cambridge the night before as its quite a long drive for me so would mean a very early start to get there for 10am.

I'm impressed ! IWM Duxford is well worth the visit if you've not been before, I especially like the restoration areas.

Hi Helen, looking forward to this next Sunday. Just wondering if there are any specific parking for us ? I know that some Clubs attending there have either in-field or specific parking allocated to them. No problem if not just wondering. See you on the 9th

Hi, no i did ask but they wanted me to buy at least 100 tickets in advance and i wasn’t prepared to do that.

i suspect if i was an R/S i might have been able to ask for the clubs backing but i am not so to be honest i didn’t bother asking.

Wow 100 Advance tickets, good decision on your part given that ! Looking forward to it, hope the weather is kind to us. See you there.

Hello,
If there is a good number of Porsches arriving between 9.30am and 10am then hopefully we can get a good block of cars parked together.
Robert

Hi all, if the weather is okay I will be coming along.
Can we buy tickets on the day or do we need to buy in advance through IWM?
