987.2/ 2.9: which front brake discs?

I will shortly need to replace the discs and pads on the front of the car.
The inner face corrosion is bad at the moment..
Is there one make that is more corrosion resistant than others available on Type911 (for example).
I think SEBRO are the preferred make?
Thanks in advance,
Graham.

Thank you Jeff, I recall that thread now!
the kit from type911 seems good value, but ecp have issued a load of discount code, hence this question.

A tip paint ( Hammerite or similar )the hub before or after fitting on the top face as they will rust quickly, some discs are pre painted on the hub .Fitted Bremo and when wet rust within a few hours do not look nice on a new disc.

The car stops well on UK roads around me here in the West midlands where going quickly is impossible due to traffic or pot holes.
It passes the MoT test easy, but I always get shown the rust on the inside face of he fronts.
Last time Zuffenhaus showed me the discs and they really look poor.
Nothing to do with the cosmetic looks, all to do with passing the MoT which is due on 1st April as they are so bad, I'm sure the Man will fail them despite the performance.

Odd that they don't clean off rust after some use, outside faces look fine, rears clean inside and outside, just the front inside.

Graham, my 987.2 CS had new disks and pads fitted front and rear last February. Disks were Sebro and pads were textar - the hub part of the disk still looks quite smart in the factory grey painted finish, the outer face of the disk still looks bright so I just popped into my garage to look at the back of the front disks and they are showing a light coating of rust (car was put away damp a couple of weeks ago) much as you've described. I've done about 5k road miles since they were fitted plus a short session at the PEC - I'm happy with the braking performance.

Good to read Andrew, thanks for the endorsement!
I thought the Sebring discs are the best for resisting warping, maybe rust too.
