Start-up from stone cold, the tick over is quite high as normal, then drops revs after a minute or so to a lower tick-over and I have a rattly heat shield.
Any engine speed over 1500 rpm and all is bliss.
So, before I get stuck-in, is there one that regularly fails, and can the shields be reached without removing the whole rear silencer system?
Any easy DIY approach to this?
Car has done 60K miles and has done this for about 2 years or even 3!
