1976 912e Servicing in South East London

doublebyte

New member
I've just brought over my old 912e from California (it must be one a small handful in the UK) ...
Does anyone one know who would do a good job be able to servicing the car around South East London (i.e Dulwich)

I've also moved from the States, so I know nothing!! Any suggestions would be a real help!!

Thanks!

Tower Bridge Porsche have good reviews and not too far from Dulwich. Porsche South London at Sidcup are worth a call but not sure if they have experience with classic Porsche. I used to live in SE London but now live near Paragon Porsche a well established and respected operation south of Royal Tunbridge Wells at Five Ashes just south of Mayfield on A267. Paragon service and sell modern and classic Porsche and they have a courtesy car.

I would look for a local VW air cooled specialist, your average Porsche and definitely OPC will not have a clue about the 912E. Its got a Porsche modified Type IV engine, so a good VW guy is your best bet.

Not South London, but not TOO far from you (distance wise at least, time can be another matter...), Revival Cars near Heathrow are probably the UK's no.1 912 specialist, at least they are for the pre-912E models. It will definitely be worth your while talking to Max, the owner.
Nice car by the way - certainly a rare beast in the UK!
