Fifth Gear Group Test Cayman 718 T

But the Cayman is getting old, and the type of buyer is shifting I think?

They said it was noisey but did not comment on the 'type' of noise (just for once), but the BMW is brand new, and targeted at the Cayman buyer and AUDI.

The TT has a lot going for it compared to the others.

Tight market place to stand out in.

The days of looking at cars from all sides is well over, just narrow points of view, but I can see why the TT won.

Fast, roomy, refined and in that form rare too.

I have to admit the format of the road test in Fifth Gear is rubbish.

Car doesn't win first test, so its eliminated from the rest of the test etc etc.

I know the Jag got the boot first but I would have liked to have seen the Cayman on the handling track and in a head to head.

Thanks for reminding me why I don't watch that awful program. I may be biased as a T owner, but its unforgivable to eliminate cars from a test and not allow them to shine (or not) at each discipline.
