Hi All,

just saying hello. I've just bought myself a 987.2 and have joined the forum - so a newbie on both fronts - first Porsche and new forum.

I'm in the Bridgend area so if you see a white 987 with a guy who has a Guy Fawkes facial hair thing going on and the roof down in all weather (still a fad for me) then it's a good chance its me. Still adapting to my new car as I've shifted from a VW Up! which I've had for the past three years, which in honesty is the most bonkers transtion I've made with cars ever 78bhp v 255bhp it's a eye opener. Still it served me well and now has been passed to my son.

Anyway hope to possibly meet some of you in the future, and I apologise in advance for any dull questions - humour me I'm new!:ROFLMAO:

Welcome, glad your enjoying your new life. I say that as now you've joined the slippery slope of Porsche ownership you will never escape [:D]
Ask as many questions as you like non are dull, may well help those who are too shy to ask
Have fun

Hi Geoff,

thanks for the welcome! really enjoying the car, not exactly for the shy as it makes a lot of people stop and stare!

Took it out for a spirited drive over the Bwlch between Ogmore Vale and the Rhondda yesterday which was awesome, beautiful road and view see picture - that’s me with the silver hair - I’m only 36! ??

Hi Geoff,
Great car, great colour and fantastic Welsh scenery. What's not to like! Welcome and enjoy your Boxster.
PS I have an UP GTI I use daily and it's great!
