We are hoping to go to the Silverstone Classic next year but they haven't released a full schedule yet for each day. We will probably just do the Saturday but I wanted to know whether we will see much racing or it is more for the Sunday. I know many of you will have been - is it worth doing just Saturday please? What are likely to see based on past years' schedules? PCGB have booking codes now that the dates have been confirmed - the Porsche hospitality is supposed to be good with grandstand viewing and the classic racing is said to be spectacular. Thanks.

John,

There's racing on both Saturday and Sunday. I've always gone on the Saturday and the racing has always been competitive and entertaining - classic sports cars, open-wheel and tin-top racers - and the Club-only stand is well positioned for the action, accessed from the Club marquee where there's plenty of seating with free tea and coffee served all day.

Well worth a trip, especially if you've not been before.

Jeff

That reminds me, I haven't watched Ferris for a while! However, anyone with a useful comment?

Yes, sorry, I was feeling a little impish this morning :) Clearly somebody else has been far more useful.

You did, however, inspire me to buy tickets for the Saturday too. I've never been to the event and rather like the sound of it.
