Outdoor half cover for 981

Not sure if this has already been covered, but I'm looking for an outdoor half cover for my 981 Boxster.
I would like to protect front and rear screens and roof from the ravages of winter.
Appreciate any experiences/recommendations with this type of cover.
Thanks,
Paul

Classic Additions sold me one three years ago for £47.00 which does what you seek.
It is lightweight though and not much use in strong winds (over c. 12mph) as the cover billows up like a sock on elasticated ties!

Specialised covers sold me a cover (Stormshield outdoor) for my Cayman several years ago, c. £200. Snug fit, still used today on the ride-on mower!

I have had my 987.2 for 3 years, heading for it's 3 winter where it stands outside, always has.

I was recommended to Cabrio Shields for a winter, outdoor weight cover that covers totally the whole soft top, windows but not the wing mirrors.
It is really good.

It is heavy weight, has Velcro straps for tightness and has magnetic strips stitched in to keep the top to the body.
Essentially, it has trapping tubes to be pinched between the doors/front wing and the leading edge of the boot lid.
This means no wind flapping (no damaged paint or fabric) and it is also theft proof!

It keeps the top totally protected and mine is still in perfect shape.

Down sides?
Few, but the biggest is it is bulky but when dry I fold it and drop it into the bottom of the front boot well.
Not cheap either, but well worth it.

Hope this helps.

Thanks David, Graham, Chris, your replies are most helpful.
Looks like the cabrioshield half cover will do exactly what I want.
Thanks again,
Paul
