We have a number of events coming up in October as well as some dates for future events which will need booking.

Wednesday 16th October – Monthly Meeting – Garstang Golf Club - Presentation by Blood Bikes

Sunday 20th October – Drive & Lunch organised by Philip Shaw. Meet at Boundary Mill, Colne to leave at 10.15. The drive will be through Hebden Bridge and onto Shibden Hall, Shibden, near Halifax.

Following this we will be going to The Piece Hall in Halifax. This is an interesting venue and has recently been featured on TV. See www.thepiecehall.co.uk. We will be stopping for lunch en route and further details will be available later.

Christmas Dinner/Disco – Saturday 14th December Preston Marriott Hotel. A booking form will be available at next weeks meeting, and in my next newsletter. November Events

Wednesday 20th November – Monthly Meeting – Porsche Centre, Bolton. (No meeting at Garstang Golf Club)
CCM Motorcycles will be giving a presentation. Places will be limited so please let me know ASAP if you would like to be added to the guest list. Numbers are limited so if you are not on the list you may not be able to get in.


Friday 29th November – Go Kart Night - Mini-Grand Prix Team Sport, 148 Brierley Road, Walton Summit Centre, Bamber Bridge, near Preston, PR5 8AH
The Mini Grand Prix at Preston International is on Friday 29/11/2019. Please arrive at 19:15 for briefing and a 20:00 race start.

We are using the longest/largest layout of both tracks together. We are also taking advantage of their 3-4-2 offer (last year we had two 15 minute races) this time and we will be having three 15 minute races for the same £45/driver as last year.

The Price is £45 per racer (+£3 for Balaclava to keep, or bring your own) spectators free and there is a bar and cafe area available.

Photographic Competition
Finally the R18 Photographic Competition will again be taking place this year. Entries from R18 members to be forwarded to our judge, Sean Conboy at hello@seanconboy.com
Closing date for entries to be received by Sean 2nd December 2019.

Photographs to be only of Porsches at events in 2019. The winning entries will be put into a R18 Calendar for 2020. These will be available for sale in December and early January. Cost to be advised later. If you would like one please let me know ASAP, as number will determine cost.
