Hi,
My car is fitted with Night View Assist - I didn’t spec it and I’ve always thought of it as a pretty useless feature.
But last night, while driving through pitch black B-roads with full beam on, a collision warning flashed up on the dashboard, showing the icon of an animal.
Turns out the car had "seen” a fox on the side of the road in the distance. I slowed down while the fox ran across the road. I dare to say this feature prevented a possible collision.
So, is this a Night View Assist feature or a standard driver aid?
I’ve seen the car warn about pedestrians but never animals and it even knew it was an animal since it showed a different icon.
