R18 Visit to Durham & Northumberland

Thanks to R18 members for inviting us to join them for a run out and dinner at our home The Stables, Beamish Hall Hotel. Despite low cloud early in the morning the fantastic roads through Kielder proved as exciting as ever, topped of by a pleasent dinner. Over all a lovely day out, and great opportunity to make some new friends.

Yes, brilliant weekend! Many thanks to R18 for inviting foreigners, Jo and Allan for organising, and Greg and Deb for the route on Saturday. Thoroughly enjoyed it all. Pity about the weather but travelling south on Sunday morning, it was sunny by Wetherby and blue skies in Bakewell. That was then, now it's raining again!
