968 Clubsport Seat Complete

Hi,
I bought a 964 Cup last year which was fitted with a 968CS seat in black.

The seat is now surplus to requirements as I've managed to obtain an original Cup seat.

I have an offer on the seat but just wondered what the approx market value is as there are none for sale, it's mint condition aside from a single mark on the back where it touched the cage and is complete with original sidemounts and OE Porsche runners (left hand side).

Thanks for any help etc,
Cheers,
Kevin

If it's a proper CS hard back seat it could fetch either side of 4 figures as these are the proverbial rocking horse dodo. However, if it's the cloth comfort seat from a CS Lux (known over here as a CS Sport) it's worth a lot less. Also as a single rather than pair could reduce the value somewhat.

Stick it on eBay for EU not just UK (remember to allow for insured shipping cost!), you might get a pleasant surprise!

Or you could just buy a brand new Recaro SP-G cheaper, which is basically the same seat. Or a slightly cheaper Recaro Pole Position.

Thanks for the feedback - it’s a proper hard backed CS seat in black cloth - I‘ve had a couple of 64RS one LWT with leather and an NGT with SPG and also cars with PP and all the seats are subtly different - the CS seat is slightly wider than an SPG for example and the ribbing is different - very similar to a 964 Speedster seat but cloth covered rather than leather...

As advised I’ll pop it on eBay and see...
