Caymans & Coffee - Sunday 27th October 2019 - Goodwood Motor Circuit Cafe

It’s time for another informal get-together for Cayman register members. May I suggest that we meet at the Goodwood Motor Circuit Cafe (web page with directions etc) between 09:00-11:00 on Sunday 27th October 2019 - the Cafe is in The Old Control Tower which is on the left as you enter the circuit (do not go through the tunnel).

The Goodwood Motor Circuit Diary (link) indicates that there are no events on that day, I have spoken to the Cafe supervisor/manager and confirmed that there are no other clubs booked in.

Although not essential it would help the Cafe staff if I can give them an indication of how many people will be attending so please message me or reply to this thread if you want to attend and whether you may want to order food.

For those travelling from the west please be aware that there are roadworks on the M27 from J4-11 with a 50mph speed limit and average speed cameras operating.

I’ve had a very good response from Cayman owners already but I’m sure a couple of interlopers will be fine, just so long as they don’t spoil our photo line-up, best get them to hide around the corner :)

Yep, I'm hoping to be there! Need more excuses to get the car out as autumn and winter roll on.

Probably won't eat, but might fancy a tea or hot chocolate.

So far around 25 Cayman Register members have contacted me via this forum, Private Messenger, or email to express an interest in this informal Cayman Register meet at the Goodwood Motor Circuit Cafe on Sunday 27th October so it promises to be a good turnout.

I've suggested a time frame of 09:00 - 11:00 so you can arrive at any point within those times and expect to see other Cayman Register members there, you don't have to arrive at 09:00 and leave at 11:00.

The Cafe knows we are coming however I haven't reserved any tables as previous experience shows attendees pop in for coffee/breakfast on an ad hoc basis.

I look forward to meeting you all there. I will be there whatever the weather!

Andrew.

I'm hoping to be there next Sunday, as others have said on this thread it's a great excuse to get the car out even though the dark, wet and cold days are setting in, and it will be good to meet a few other Cayman owners as it will be my first "official" event with the car [:)]

Not sure yet if I'll go for breakfast (depends what's on offer - I don't eat meat) but hope to drop in for a cup of tea or coffee!
