i bought what i was led to believe, a set of 17” Cup 1 rims for the 964. Upon trying to fit, they stick out beyond the arch. quite obviously not for this car.

can anyone help me identify the correct car so that I might resell them?

fronts 7 1/2 J 17 H2 rears 9 J 17 H2
both also say ET23

thanks in advance

Sounds like the offsets are for a 944 or 968..

Does the part number begin with 965.*** on the inside of the wheels on both the front and rear.
Should be a number at the side of the valve on the front of the original wheels.

YEs Early 944 had offset's ET23

Stick them on the Bay, they'll go...…….

They wont fit a early 944 as they are 9" on the backs, they rub, you would need 7.5" front & back.

Oh...I had them on one of my early 944's 255 rear tyres on 9" and they fitted fine...!
