Hi - looking for information to get a 1968 911 ‘S’ Swb 2.0 litre LHD valued / appraised restoration started a number of years ago by late step father.
Thanks in advance

Hi, I can help you with this if you need. I have 2 1968 SWB 911's at the moment, one fully restored to 'S' spec, and another original S stripped that I am currently rebuilding. Very familiar with the subtleties of the 1968 model-year cars.

Please feel free to send me a PM if you need further details.

Best regards,

Mike.

Good stuff Mike. Your post shows the value of forum and what a GREAT Club this is[:)]

Hi Mike - many thanks for the message, in terms originality I believe it’s number matching (from memory I checked this a number of years ago, before being stored), the condition is all for quarters removed / along with doors, engines not been touched in 20+ years, etc.
- do you have a company that restores early cars or could let me know someone who could given an indication of valve as is and/or cost to restore?
Many thanks in advance
Fraser

We probably need at least a good conversation over this and/or some photos, else these sort of things have a tendency to become 'long piece of string' questions. I'll drop you a line with some contact details to progress.

Best regards,

Mike.
