Hood Refurb/Dye?
Hi Everyone,

I posted this in the Boxster Forum but I am hoping the wider Porsche Family in Yorkshire may be able to help me.....
I am a total Newbie here so please be gentle with me....
I have a Lapis Blue Boxster S with a blue hood.
It is in perfect order except it is faded in few patches. I spent an entire day cleaning, dyeing, and sealing it about 12 weeks ago using Renovo products.
It appears as bad as ever after a summer of use.
Could anyone point me in the direction of someone who could refurbish it or am I looking at a complete hood replacement. As I mentioned it is in good nick apart from the fading so if there was someone who would professionally refurb it, that would be the best option. I am based in North Yorkshire but am prepared to travel a bit to get the job done.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best wishes,

Verner

It looks fantastic Verner. I’m pleased to be of assistance to you, that’s what the club is about as well as many other things it does very well.
Best regards
Roger

When getting Hood fitted they noticed the right Water Drip Pan was compromised, so I got the left and right replaced along with B-Pillar Seals by Scott @ YCP.
Very pleased with the outcome.

Thanks,
