Porsche Centre Teesside would once again like to invite R3 members to our highly coveted workshop open morning.

Saturday 19th October from 9.00am

These mornings have become a favourite with both staff and club members alike. With the usual club relaxed and casual atmosphere, bacon butties and coffee, it’s a great opportunity to get your car on the ramps and spend some time looking over it with one of our Porsche trained technicians.

If you’re still unsure, please feel free to have a chat with some of the other club members who have been to one of these mornings before. they really are a lot of fun.

As slots are limited to ensure enough time on the ramp for each vehicle, please email me at tim.copeland@porscheteesside.co.uk

to register your interest with Your PCGB club membership number and vehicle registration.

Both myself and the team look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the day.

Tim.

Thank you to everyone who has put their name down, the response has been fantastic.

All slots are now taken.

Any additional requests will go onto the reserve list and we’ll try our best to accommodate you on the morning.

Are there any plans for a group drive down on Saturday?

Suggest Washington Services @ 08:00 for a 08:15 departure to Teesside for those coming from the North of the region but happy to fall in behind any other plans if they are out there?

Hi

Myself and a friend will join the open workshop please. My car went on the ramp last time, so no need for a slot, but we'll still head down for a tyre kick and sarnie.

I would be happy to meet at Washington services for the first part of the convoy, but will need to pull off the A1 and pick my friend up from Sedgefield en route.

Great to hear so many of you are coming along on Saturday morning.

It all starts at 9.00am and will run until around midday.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday

Hi I am R7 member and would like to come alone. Will not be coming in Porsche, as is sorn. but would like to attend the event if possible. many thanks Glenn

i have just realised that I did not put my name down for this. I will be there on Saturday if that is OK - ‘just looking’

Is everybody still meeting at Washington Services @ 08:00 for a 08:15 departure
Hi Gary I originally suggested that on the assumption if a larger group was travelling down from the North of the region it'd help the organisers if we got there as close to 9am as possible....I've since got myself roped into a bootcamp session that I cant avoid that will finish around 7:30am so after getting back home for a shower probably I'll be pushing to get to get to Washington services for 08:30 earliest...If anyone wanting to travel as a group are happy to arrive a little later how about aiming for a 08:45 departure and should only be a 30min run to the OPC?

One thing i'd not considered are the current roadworks on the A19 Northbound which sometimes means that my route to the services ends up choked on the A184 or A1231 as they close the northbound A19 over the weekends (although I've not spotted any signs yet this week?)....would the A19 Shell services at Easington be any better for anyone?

Then again, I've changed the plans so happy to fall in with other and I'll try to make it for 08:30 or try to catch you on the A1.

Hi

I'm happy to meet at Washington or Easington if that works for anyone? I'm coming through the Tunnel, so can easily pick up either location. Also no longer picking up my friend from Sedgefield, so either A19 or A1 works.

Either works for as I am based in Chester-Le-Street. If the Shell services at Easington is easier for you, let meet there at 8.45am.

Not sure if you’ll get this? I’m running a little (15-20 min) late. I’ll be going same route down A19 via Easington if you feel the need to leave don’t wait for me and I’ll see you on the road!
