How much did you pay for yours?

Wonder if the analysis will hold true at the dealership level as well as for the manufacturer? Are the 911s the most profitable for the dealers as well as for Porsche itself?
I'm seriously considering switching from BMW to Porsche and I've always managed to get a discount, especially on my current 640i which was reduced by £17k in 2016. Can I assume that I'd be wasting my breath with Porsche?
I think the world may be changing a bit. Porsche have very aggressive sales targets for the forth quarter in the UK and I have heard of OPC's discounting cars they are keen to shift. One thing is for sure if you do not ask you will not get

Very true. I thought the fixed price issue thing was a Porsche thing but it appears that discounts are par for the course in the US. As you say, if you don't ask you wont get...

Just recently had an email from Coast2Coast cars offering discounts on Porsches. Worth checking out I suppose

I asked, and didn't get :ROFLMAO: What I did get though was kicked in the teeth with a price rise that happened some 7 months after I paid the deposit and just as I got the window to cement my spec. That irked me, to say the least. Had an interesting chat with the sales guy, culminating in me swallowing 1/3rd of the price increase and the dealer taking the rest. It was a few hundred quid. Meh.

Must admit though, the fact I could be hit with a price rise after paying a deposit, and therefore through no fault of my own, did p' me off a lot.

always worth a try - after a weeks hard negotiation I got 5% off my approved 991 GT3 and a year later 10%. Off my a new unregistered 718T both from main dealers
