996 turbo exhaust options

Evening folks I’ve recently changed my 4S for a manual 996 turbo coupe which I’m very pleased with.

But......the exhaust, I knew it would be quieter compared to the factory PSE on my 4S but it sounds like a hair dryer in comparison and leaves me feeling a bit underwhelmed.

I’ve used the search function on this forum and see Kline are a popular choice (and also big money new). Trouble is most of the posts are a few years old now so I’m keen to hear more up to date views......

What’s the latest thinking on getting a bit more noise out of a turbo without ruining it? Anyone have any recommendations or video clips or maybe even something sat in your garage you want to sell me! I know vid clips are not ideal but I’ve searched YouTube but can’t find anything conclusive.

Ideally I’d like to buy a decent used aftermarket option.

Thanks in advance

I don’t know the answer to your question but turbos invariably sound disappointing in comparison with normally aspirated in my opinion.
There‘s little point in me stating that I’m happy with sound of my Dansk Sport on my 3.6 C2 996 and delighted with the Carnewal GT modified silencers on my 987.1 Boxster S

Not the latest I'm afraid as the wife has a full titanium akrapovic evolution line system (manifolds, cats, box) on her 9e25 and although expensive, is brilliant.
A full akro system is still very hard to beat for quality, sound and performance.

I have put a Top Gear exhaust and 200 cats on my 2002 turbo . Very pleased with the result . Sounds great and dies not drone . Dove  House fitted as it is not any easy job . Also need 4 new air sensors as it proved impossible to remove the existing one in the or original system
    regards

I know Milltek used to make a system for the turbo. On normal aspirated they tend to bark a fairly deep sound without being unobtrusive on normal driving.

Pretty certain our ex-ro was running Fabspeed on his turbo and that was loud on acceleration.
