This is a drive out and lunch/afternoon tea in support of Laura Heney’s chosen charity. Laura is the daughter of our good friends Jeremy and Melanie Heney and she has recently been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. We want to support her in whatever way we can through her journey and any donations received on the day will go to her chosen charity.

We have invited R3 and R18 to join us along with other Porsche Owners and friends who also know the Heney’s and would like to be involved. The idea is simple, a leisurely drive out meeting at our venue Lowther Castle, Penrith (CA10 2HH) where we will be parked on the North terrace in front of the Castle. Arrival from around 11.00am onwards then park up and have a natter and some food/drink. Why not bring along a picnic and some chairs and enjoy a relaxing day. No timescales just come along and join us to support Laura’s cause.

Donations on the day will be totally discretionary so don’t feel obliged to donate if you do not want to.

For those that would like to donate online then there is a link below that takes you to Laura's page.

Thank you Martin, your support is greatly appreciated by Laura , Mel and myself.

Below is the entrance map for access to Lowther Castle. They owners of the castle have kindly given us our own entrance so we won't have to queue with the normal visitors and this will also allow us to get to our parking area easily. As you can see the entrance we will be using is slightly away from the main castle entrance.

We will have marshalls on the day and there will be Porsche Club banners to assist in directing you.

Thank you to everyone who attended yesterday in support of Laura and her chosen charity. The weather wasn't kind but we still had 62 cars on display and £684.50 was raised on the day with an additional £190.00 added to her Go Fund Me page over the weekend.

A massive thank you to everyone on behalf of myself and the Heney family we couldn't have done it without your support.

Thank you for organising and having us yesterday. Colin and Sam R1
