Good morning
My friend followed me a few days ago and informed me that my retractable spoiler brake light only had a few bulbs lit.
So yesterday morning I thought I would quickly change the defective bulbs,(wishful thinking on my part)
The light had obviously been taken apart many times and nearly all the plastic inside was broken.
After many attempts and much cursing,(5 bulbs out then only 2 then back to 4 etc)??
I decided to cut up a rubber washer and insert it where the broken plastic should have been.
The plastic was stopping the copper wires touching each other.
I then reassembled the light and to my dismay 2 lights out??
This went on until I finally achieved my goal.
After sitting down for a few beers I came to the conclusion if they go out again I’m going to bite the bullet and replace it with a new one. Which I will immediately open up and replace with the highest quality LED bulbs I can get my hands on.
