Hi, I'm thinking of freshening up the interior of my 997 GTS by replacing the standard back rubberised finish rear centre console and silver seat backs with painted to match the exterior colour of Meteor Grey. I know these were Porsche Exclusive options back in 2011 but I guess I will now need to remove and send the relevant parts to a body shop for stripping, prep and painting. Has any one been down this road and cares too share their experience / recommendations? BTW, I'm based in the NE. Thanks.

I’ve been thinking of having my centre console painted on my 987 Boxster.
There was a group buy / thread running on 911uk.com under the 997 section, where a company in Poole did a good deal, Wicked Coatings I think they were called. Worth having a look.

Thanks Boxstercol, I'll check out 911uk.com.
