Goodridge Hoses - Where From?

944 man

New member
As title. K300's website doesnt seem to work any longer and they would have been my first choice. I realise that 944 fitment lists (which mostly originate in America) are awful, but the obvious listing mistakes from all suppliers mean that I have little confidence (wtf is a 944 S1?) in the correct parts coming.

These are to suit a 1988 Turbo with regular small Brembos. Id prefer Goodridge but I would happily consider other makes. Id like to pay as little possible and Id really like them to come within a few days.

I have HEL on mine and no complaints.

Picked the appropriate fitment from their eBay listings.

Is working fine for me,

give him a ring 0161 355 1275
Thanks. When you say that it works, do you mean that it comes up and looks right or do you mean that you can select a 944 model's hoses and put them into a basket? For me, none of the commercial parts of his sites work. Nothing in KW, and you cant go beyond the model list in Goodridge hoses: it just throws you pack to the manufacturers landing page. I telephoned and it went to answerphone.

Have you tried getting directly from Goodridge?

I presume "S1" is up to 1988 and "S2" is after. They are custom made though and would take 5-7 days.
As an aside, we had a tour of the factory recently and very impressive it is too ( Local to us in Exeter)

Yes, but that is very wrong, isnt it? The S in S2 stands for Super and there is no such thing as an S1. There is an S, but it is definitely a series two 944, and all 2.7L cars have ATE calipers but they were only available for the 1989 model year.

I want hoses for a 1988 Turbo, which isnt referenced at all, and there are two different types of caliper available. If I can avoid it Id prefer not to have to argue with someone who is wrong, who is looking at a fitment list that isnt right. From memory thatll be CAM too, rather than 'Goodridge'. Theyre cheaper than HEL though!

Ah Ok

I never went that far, and I have not seen him on the 968 forum for wee while,

I will drop him a message

Ive spoken to Stuart and his website is being worked on. Delivered price is £76 which is great, but sadly the lead time from the manufacturer will be too long.

Just buy the hose and the fittings you want direct from Goodridge and make them up yourself.
It's a straight forward process. I've done hundreds of them myself in my time. [;)]

Clive
