After the recent rains, does anyone know if the Lotherton site is expected to be fit for Sunday? Hopefully so, but it would be helpful if the forum could be used to give condition updates (eg definitely yes, definitely no, or we'll be making a decision on xxxday and will post it here). Many thanks!

The Lotherton ground is probably about the best drained we have ever been on.

You will never know that there has been any rain, and we have had considerably more than this in the past.

The next couple of days are going to be fairly dry, with the forecast for Sunday looking up. The event will be happening so see you there.

We have had a lot less rain around Lotherton than you guys have, or those out in the Dales.

I have had the please of being there during torrential rain, and you would never have know other than the wet pants [:D]

Interesting to read this but with the forecast 'unsettled' I am not going to do the 400 mile round trip from Bedfordshire......

I have 2 tickets (free) if anyone more local wants to attend & hasn't already purchased but will obviously need to be in the post asap tomorrow!

PM me & I'll post 1st Class tomorrow (Friday) so will hopefully arrive Saturday 3rd.....

Really!
No rain is forecast for the Lotherton area from midnight Saturday until around 5pm on Sunday when there is a 33% possibility of light rain. As has been stated the ground is fine. We haven’t had the rain experienced 60 miles north around Leyburn.

For anyone interested, 3 of us are meeting at 9am services North of J38 A1 for convoy to the show, all welcome to join us ??
