Is anyone with a 993 of any variety interested in meeting up somewhere for a chinwag etc. Or shall we all try to meet at Witton Castle R3 gathering on August 18th?

Hi Rob,

Loving your idea of some sort of anniversary display, to celebrate 25 years of the iconic 993. Sadly, though I don’t believe we have a huge amount of them currently in our Region.

That said, now you have piqued the interest of Maurice, who I am unsure if you were aware, is the current 993 Register Secretary. Perhaps if we ask nicely we can draw on his extensive knowledge and contacts to try and make this happen and would greatly welcome any assistance to help spread the “lurv” even further within the 993 community here in R3 by joining us at our Regional show at Witton Castle.

Over to you Maurice.[;)]

I’ll be there in the 993, Greg [8D]

Unfortunately nowadays, many are left in the garage to seize up as ‘investments’ [:(]

Brilliant, let's see if we get any more offers, who knows we may be able to make something work on the day.

Garage queens can still be taken to the event on a trailer[8D]

I will have on display my dear late friends (Les Murray) 993 C4 which his kind wife Alison has kindly allowed to show ..... sure it will be best on the day [:)]

I welcome anyone putting on displays of our delightful cars, but I regret my attendance at Witton Castle is ruled out because of a busted fibula .. ;((

That‘s a shame, I’m sure you’d have received some unique northern hospitality.
