As discussed on Club night, last year a few of us decided this show was worth a visit and met at Lanchester Garden Centre Bargate Bank, Lanchester, Durham DH7 0SS, prior to driving in and parking together.

We are planning to do the same again this year if anyone would like to join us for a leisurely breakfast we are aiming to be at the garden centre from around 9.30am and leave when everyone has enjoyed a relaxed bite to eat or a cuppa probably about 10.45am but again nothing is set in stone so happy to be flexible for those who want to spend a little longer in the garden centre.

The event starts from 11.00am and will take no more than 30 mins to get there from Lanchester.

Please note as this is not a PCGB event, we do not have a Club stand at this, therefore entry is free and you can leave anytime you wish as they have no restrictions on vehicle movement for visitors.

Amy & Dave will be there.....

Don't save us a seat for breakfast as we'll be at the show a little earlier than the rest

#slightlyawkward :-$

I will be there....

Dave C, I thought you were coming to make my coddled mongolian platypus eggs with soldiers?

A gentleman must have adequate regalement before embarking on a walking tour of Castle grounds....

(you can't get the staff these days....[8|])

Sir John

Sir John

I will send an appropriate substitute in my absence to create your breakfast banquet but I'm going to the event early to make sure the red carpet is there for your arrival

Jury is still out on this one. Tree cutting in progress, in my back garden..... The Cricket WC final is taking place on the telly. Add to that the bore fests that is the F1 GP from Silverstone and the tennis (Yawn)

We may see you for breakfast.

Thanks everyone who made it today, not a bad little show this, with some very interesting cars on display and perhaps some maybe not what you would expect at a classic car show [;)] but overall a varied mix.

Apologies if Deb & I missed any of you attending we did try to get around everyone before having a wander around the grounds to try and pick up some new ideas for our show in August.

You will be pleased to know that we picked up 2 more R3 entrants for our concours competition plus 2 extra trade stalls, Ginka and hopefully Becky with her Ridiculously Rich cake and chocolate stall again, as well as several potential new members and visitors for our Regional show.

We also chatted to one of the Air Ambulance pilots who was disappointed to learn that he's on shift on the 18th August as he's a Porsche enthusiast himself. Who knows, he may fly over to check us out on his way back from a shout.

Unfortunately we didn't get to say our goodbyes to those of you who headed off earlier or those who had headed off to the bar, we left to check if the Horsepower at Ivesley show was one we may like to add to the R3 calendar next year, although we could have saved ourselves the bother, getting in was terrible. Oh well, that answered that, an RO's work is never done.

So you only put in a 12 hour shift on Sunday then.....:ROFLMAO:

Well done Greg and Deb, thanks for all the unseen hard work...
