Hi Guys and Gals!!!

local to Wakefield/Leeds and interested in any local get togethers ?

struggling with the forum so be gentle with me till I get used to how it works ??

Hi GTFrankie

Welcome to the club and to the best region in it (just a bit biased). We're just up the road from Horbury Bridge so similar territory.

The next drive out is on Sunday 21 July, see link below:

https://www.porscheclubgb.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=1031357

The forum is a good place to find out about local events, also look out for the monthly emailed newsletter sent to all R7 members. If you're on Facebook there's a closed group you can join called PCGB Yorkshire Region.

There's a link below giving details of each of the 4 monthly club nights, the one at the Woodlands near Gildersome will be the most local to you on the first Wednesday of each month. We also like the one at Beckwithshaw, it's a bit of a drive and we like the pub. Your first club night can feel a bit daunting but we're a friendly bunch so just be brave and start a conversation, we've all got at least one thing in common...we love talking about our cars!

A must for a new member is R7's annual event at Lotherton Hall on Sunday 4 August, always a great event with over 900 Porsches in attendance last year. Various stalls, Club Shop, live music and hog roast all make for a great atmosphere with a field full of Porsches and people who love them.

Hope this helps.

Lovely looking Cayman btw [:)]

Hi and a warm welcome to the club which is thriving in Yorkshire. There’s little I can add other to suggest that you may also enjoy the South Yorkshire club night held on the second Wednesday at The Red Lion, Todwick on A57 about 2 miles east of the M1. Starting at 8pm or a little earlier. Next meeting 10th July.
I look forward to meeting you soon
Best regards
Roger

Well sort of haha I’m a Glaswegian living here but I’m currently in the new builds in Normanton

cant believe I haven’t seen you around! Do you not use it much ?

Hi,

Welcome to the club - I'm fairly new to the club also - but so far really enjoying it. I went on the North West 100 run which was really good.

I'm also in Wakefield.

Have you signed up for the Yorkshire Porsche Festival 4th August ?

I think me and Mike (above post) are trying to organise a meetup around Wakefield so we can get a convoy going.
