Hi All,

My local mechanic has closed down and I no longer know someone trustworthy to get mechanical repairs done.

I am based in East London- Leytonstone.

Any recommendations?

I would second Jaz for specialist work, for sure.

I would also recommend Brunswick Garage - https://brunswickgarage.com/ The owner is a Porsche Club member / owner and does a lot of work for us. Not a true Porsche specialist, about 20 - 30 mins or so from Leytonstone (I live pretty close to you) but has done work for us on my various 911's and Cayenne and other cars over the years.

depends what work you need doing of course!

My Steering column is making an annoying grinding noise. My previous mechanic advised me that its the plastics and rubbers on the steering rack.

Ive purchased the above correct parts but need someone to fit them on and I notice a small leak so would like to get it checked out so nothing too major I guess. But I would like to avoid going to a garage that can tell me the problem rather than trial and error.

HP Motorsport in Hainault are good guys, I've used them for servicing over the past few years.
