997 Gen II - Engine Issue

I was wondering if anyone had experienced the issue I had yesterday.

I was driving back from the shops, and noticed the engine felt lumpy. The engine waring light then came on, but I managed to limp home - was very scared as seemed serious.

But when I got home the car started as normal and issue has gone away.

Any help much appreciated.

Sounds like it may be a coil pack issue or similar. Only way to really tell is to get it to someone with a fault decoder.

It seems that there can be issues with the Variocam actuators on the MA.1 engines. As Alan says, the best thing to do is to get a proper diagnostic test done.
