July 1st Monthly meeting

For those of you eagle-eyed people who spotted that there was no R8 report in Porsche Post - we are sorry!!  Email glitches this end caused the issue so we unknowingly missed the deadline

Anyway, there is definitely a meeting as usual at the Coopers Arms - plenty of tyre kicking and chat - over 60 Porsches at the last meeting - let's see if we can top that

    Sorry about that Robo

We do quite a few events through the region - keep an eye on the calendar at the top of the R8 forum page - and I do periodic newsletters as well.  If you are interested, we hold regular monthly meetings on the first Monday of the month at the Coopers Arms, Weston on Trent, DE72 2BJ.  The meeting starts at about 8 0r 8.30 depending on the weather as we do like a bit of tyre kicking and chat in the car park before the brief formalities - then more chat!  The Coopers does a very good carvery meal which many members enjoy from about 7.00.  We do from time to time have speakers - watch out for details of those on our forum page and the newsletter which is mailed out from time to time. We have recently been welcoming around 50 Porsches each month.

We organise several other very popular events around the region - check these out from the calendar at the top of the R8 forum page. If you are a Facebook user, you can also keep up with what we've all been up to on our Facebook page R8PCGB once you have registered with the moderator.

I hope this gives you a flavour of our region - it would be good to see you next Monday if you are able to come. Make yourself known to me or Tom when you arrive.
