Caymans & Coffee - 14th July 2019 at Goodwood

I feel that the time has come for another informal get-together for Cayman register members. May I suggest that we meet at the Goodwood Motor Circuit Cafe between 09:00-11:00 on Sunday 14th July 2019 - the Cafe is in The Old Control Tower which is on the left as you enter the circuit (do not go through the tunnel).

The Goodwood Motor Circuit Diary (link) indicates that there are no events on that day, I have spoken to the Cafe supervisor/manager and confirmed that there are no other clubs booked in.

Although not essential it would help the Cafe staff if I can give them an indication of how many people will be attending so please message me or reply to this thread if you want to attend and whether you may want to order food.

Edited to add.....
For those travelling from the west please be aware that there are roadworks on the M27 from J4-11 with a 50mph speed limit and average speed cameras operating.

Andrew, would have loved to join in but am off in deepest country Essex seeing friends. There is a supercar event at sherborne Castle near Dorchester on the 21st July, might be of interest to some of us in the Dorset area?

Actually, I'm free now so can make it (just drove Goodwood earlier this week, at an Evo event, really enjoyed the track!)

Anyone else hoping to attend? I have asked Kevan our Cayman Register secretary to send a MailChimp note to all register members. There were 30 or more Caymans at the meeting last July but that date didn’t clash with the F1 British Grand Prix..

I've recently joined the club, and recently joined the world of Porsche ownership with a 981 Cayman S which I'm loving. Would love to have attended this, was at the Festival of Speed over the weekend but will unfortunately be on the other side of the planet on the weekend of the 14th.

For those travelling from the west please be aware that there are roadworks on the M27 from J4-11 with a 50mph speed limit and average speed cameras operating.

Hi Andrew,

I look forward to meeting you again on Sunday. I won't need any food, just coffee.

Best wishes,

Alan

Sounds like a good Sunday morning sprint... as last year, we will be there bright and early..

Andrew - sounds great! I am in Stuttgart right now (no prizes for guess where I will visit tomorrow!) and I only get home on Saturday evening. But assume I will come along in my Cayman R with a mate. Only risk is if my return journey is horribly delayed, in which case I will let you know.

Count me in - Just to be sure, is the cafe within the boundaries of the estate circuit at the Aero Club Cafe?
