HI all

As my 1999 C4 the driver seat bolster cushion is worn away and after 20 years abuse by me Ive removed the seat and its off to get a new leather panel fitted. The seat isnt the normal seat but is the "sports seat" which has 80's shoulder pads and a trendy leather pouch!

Anyway Ive taken the opportunity to clean the carpet, fish out my lost Howard Jones cassette tape from under the ECU and prep everything for the refurbished seat. The rear runner ends need replacing as they are broken, and I cant find the exact same. I wonder because of the sport seat the profile is lower than the ones I see on ebay... also the front ones has screw holes where none exist on the cover shown.

Looking at the PET the part number are 996.521.351.00 (/L) and 996.521.358.00 (/R), and although I have 2 each side there seems to be only one with a mount cover on the other side 999.507.592.01. Ive this car for nearly all its life, bought from Lancasters Colchester, so Im sure this is all original.

The cover face drops from bottom of runner slot about 17mm, compared to the front ones of 45mm. I wonder if sports seat runnings are lower? Unfortunately there are only part numbers on the front covers eg 996.521.360.00 /R

Ill let you know how I get on, it might be a great excuse to get a 3d printer! especially as the frame of my leather pouch is broken too!!
