It’s a pity you didn’t get your car on the Dyno before the mods Dave, but I’m sure there’s plenty of data online for reference points.

Yeah, there's plenty of reference points for standard cars.  JCR and BGB have posted plots of their mods vs standard cars so you'll get the general idea of how mine performs versus a standard car.

I don't think there will be a huge difference, maybe just a slight shift upwards of the curve as the car breathes a little better.  It's more the feel in the seat that will have changed most IMHO, it's all about maximising the experience and joy of driving

Just about to order PS4S £868 for the set from Black circles.
Nearly £600 less than main dealer 😳
Thanks for the recommendation.
Does the 718 drive well on them ?

That’s true Dave ... raw performance figures don’t always tell the full story.

Yep!  I've been out in biblical rain and they're awesome.  In the warm and dry they're not quite as grippy as Cup2s, but we won't see days like that for a few months now...

Pete at 9m would like to throw my car on the dyno at some point to see how it's doing, so it may happen at some point...

Well it seems I've got a provisional dyno day of Friday 18 December.  Watch this space, I'll post the results when I have them.  I'm guessing at 420bhp, a slight increase over the 414bhp the car should have had as standard...

I have a 2nd set of OE GT4 (981) wheels.  I had my new front PS4S tyres fitted (by my reputable, regular supplier) to my front 'spares' two weeks ago and the rears were due to land at the end of November.  Today I was told Michelin now say they will be approx 10 weeks on back order

That's a bit rubbish.  They seem to be in stock at Oponeo and Tyreleader if that helps?

Just spoke with my supplier ... end November now

Story being, how Michelin are / are not managing their productions runs and then the import process

Their current offer of £100 of vouchers with four tyres expires November 30th hence if no tyres by then a decision on whether to pay up prior to receipt / fitment

Also tried to source Pirelli P Zero and Eagle F1s on bc and cant get a full set. 🙄
I will try an independent next.

For 11" rims there are a lot of PS4s N rated tyres that would fit including slightly wider 305 or narrower 285. Tyre experts feel free to correct me on this because I have a spare set of wheels and would be interested in the answer.

Thanks Nick.
i have my fingers crossed for an independent supplier. Its the profile of the rear tyre which is a problem.
295/35 which I had on my 991 GTS are available

Mine are coming from an approved Michelin dealer, £212 front - £260 rear ... fitted

Fronts have arrived, I`m happy to wait as they provide an excellent service, not for ten weeks though !

Courtesy of Rob on the seemingly interminable Spyder thread:

From 380hp to 560hp for an increase in capacity of 0.7-litre is a very significant power hike. I wonder what are the other changes that DeMan declined to share: heads, intake, exhaust, flywheel, DME mapping? I wonder if the machining marks on the crankshaft webs are original or if material has been removed in the interest of lightness and reduced rotational inertia?

Note that he also offers revised 2nd - 5th gearbox ratios designed specifically to work with the 4.5-litre’s power delivery.

For anyone interested, Ninemeister are offering £100 off the LWFW for Black Friday.

Discount on the exhaust will be going live tomorrow too, apparently...
