Hi all,
I have a Cayenne 3.0 Diesel 66 Reg, since 3 weeks ago I had a warning light pop up from the Multi-function display, on the position normally shows the Auto-start/stop symbol Green "A", it is in yellow looks like a car front face with a Exclamation mark, it only stay for few seconds and then disappeared. I never had a chance to took a photo as it comes and goes too quick, however I have had this for 3 times so far, doesn't feel anything wrong with the car while driving, not sure if anybody experienced the same issue like this before? any advice would be highly appreciate.

by checking through the manual 2015-2016 version, chassis system fault warning light looks quite similar, but I can't confirm that the one. ABS/PSM/PASM fault warning light also look similar, again, not 100% sure.

Hi Keith,
thanks a lot for your reply. I searched on Google it doesn't show any warning light example there, cant really tell if that's the problem. I am also pretty sure when the lights up on the dashboard, I have no car in front or close by.

anyone could help pls?
OPC has no clue what that is, it keep showing up every morning while driving, can't think of anything in particular, it only stay for about 3 seconds, can't even react to take a photo. yellow car front image with Exclamation mark in a triangle. went through the manual several times but found no any warning image match with it.

Hiya,
unfortunately I don't know when the warning light will pop up, like I said from previous post, it stays 3 seconds only, if I can't even take a photo, video clip is surely impossible.

Hiya,
thanks for your reply. I checked this page before, unfortunately none of the warning lights match with it, I have checked 16-17 and 17-18 Cayenne manuals, nothing matches.

I have the same issue and can't find any information about this warning sign. Just so you know you are not alone...

I have a hybrid/Petrol version so at leats now I know it is not related with the electrical engine.

I have this same light pop up every now and then. Looked high and low online trying to find an explanation for it and like you say, it never hangs around long enough to get a picture of it. It shows a yellow car rear end with a triangle sign in front of it and an exclamation mark in the sign. The only place I can find with a picture of it and a vague description is here -> https://www.porscheriverside.com/porsche-warning-lights/ its the 9th symbol down and described as 'Distance Warning Warning Light'. I can only assume its something to do with PAS and the active cruise control picking up something too close - even thought this sometimes comes on when there are no cars in front of me. Hope this helps someone else with the issue.

Hi Makalu,
after a couple of years I realised that it is just a warning light nothing serious though. Like what you have understood, it is just too sensitive when you drive close to a car, no Issues at all.

Don‘t worry, it only appears when you are closing to a car, flashing off quickly is because you are soon back to safety distance.
