Farewell to an old friend

Well I said goodbye to my beloved Porsche 944S2 today . It was a little sad as I know that I will never have another Porsche now.

I've had the old gal 15 years and through many ups and downs she has always taken me everywhere i wanted to go in style and comfort and very quickly!.

I haven't been loging in here so much over the past 10 years due to caring for my Father and 10 years of no use and neglect has taken its toll on the old girl. Much of the interior linings have warped and the dash is covered in cracks from the sun. (why on earth I didn't cover the dash i'll never know )?

The chap that bought it is really excited about restoring it just as was all those years ago and I am sure that he will find his way onto here soon enough
In the end I am happy that I got what I asked for £4650.00 so I threw in £1000 worth of brand new boxed parts and a dozen books too. I know he will enjoy the car just as I have and will ensure it stays on the road for a few years yet so look out for it on the roads in its new home Essex

I'll be looking in from time to time so you haven't completely got rid of me yet lol
I would attach a picture but this pathetic Porsche site seemingly still can't afford to host images ?.............although I notice that you have to climb through several pages of aggessive messages about joining the membership in order to log in these days

no .........down south near Dagenham area I'm afraid.
Hopefully he will arrive here eventually and introduce themself

You will be missed and I wish you well ...and thanks for the side swipe at the site that you pay nothing to support.

Farewell Sir
