What does your local OPC say?
I've seen it listed on US sites for $1,100 plus postage and customs charges which in my experience usually works out at about the same price in £'s depending on exchange rates.
Is the original part lost? or is it broken.
If broken I'd find a fabricator who can repair or build a new one.
Do a google using just the part number and see which US sites will post part over.
Best of luck, and give us feedback on what you did.

Car is with Southbound. Piece is cracked and due to metal used cannot be repaired.
its available here at £800+vat.

I've never owned a Targa so not familiar with the roof but I have heard of people welding broken parts of the roof. I've not heard of a metal that can't be welded. What sort of metal is it?

Its a magnesium alloy, cant be welded. If the fingers of the hinge have broken (very common) its find a replacement, as Im sure Dave at Southbound has told you, £837 plus VAT new from OPC

I may have one, I'll take a look tomorrow and come back!

Hi
you are correct in assuming it’s one of the fingers and that Dave has advised me accordingly.

it would be fabulous if you could help me out.

cheers

I have one side, cant remember what one, will advise tomorrow.............fingers crossed!.....................see what I did there?

Resurrecting an old thread.. I find myself in the same boat... In need of the right hand side part. Just in case anyone knows of one ?
