Some say that Sunday should be a day of praise then if so praise be indeed to Messrs Lenoir McAdam Otto and Porsche. If you hold the faith within you and need to worship at their altar there will be another congregational service this Sunday (May 5th) held at Woolley Edge Services (southbound WF4 4LQ).

Proceedings commence at 06:00hrs sharp (blink and you will miss us).

Our chosen route is the magnificent Oopnorthring Stage 2 (........ well our version of it at least) with glorious empty roads exquisite pristine tarmac and spectacular views ....... yes folks this is England. There are no special requirements or printed routes for these runs just a pair of good Mk1 eyeballs however any participants relying on a couple of matchsticks to get them around the 'ring' may well be excluded on health and safety grounds.

As ever there will be a bacon sarnie / cuppa and general chinwag stop at some point on route.

So whether you are a saint or a sinner ....... this Sunday set your alarm clock chuck back the duvet and find your salvation.

Praise be.

All of this and back in time for lunch .......... can things really get any better?

:ROFLMAO:

Hang loose and stay close.

Amen.

Sounds like our kind of religion! Just be aware that it's Tour De Yorkshire this weekend so best avoid anywhere near their routes. Roads in general likely to be busier than usual for a Sunday. Not sure if we'll join you but have a blast if we don't

Just for that introduction alone I'd love to attend but we're at Donington all day. Praise be to the Messiah.

Nessun dorma?

Okay sleepy heads .................. methinks I'm beginning to get it now.

You.

Repent ye thine own ways ye sinners.

Carpe diem!

Now that's what I call an early start. I managed to drag my lazy arse out of bed last Sunday for a 6:30 start from home – this little outing will require a 5am start. Hmm, will my lazy arse manage that?

It sounds fab. If arse agrees with head I'll be there. Black 991.2. If head and arse have a disagreement, I won't. Don't wait past 6 :-D

BTW, Tour de Yorkshire bike race route for Sunday … https://letour.yorkshire.com/tour-de-yorkshire-2019/mens-race/stage-4/map/

Avoiding all that? Even though the race doesn't start until midday they'll close the roads way ahead of time.

Golden slumbers fill your eyes smiles awake you when you rise ...........

Thanks to all who have read or replied to this little post so far.

So unless someone has a big (Porsche) epiphany moment between now and Sunday morning it looks likely that its just me n thee Dave.

As it is a bank holiday weekend I appreciate we are all really spoilt for choice as to how we spend it. However as far as this run is concerned we have no intention of tangling with the Tour de Yorkshire nor will we be parking up in a field somewhere or in the grounds of a stately home. Anyone who cant sleep or just wants to join our congregation in their motors early on Sunday morning for an uplifting infusion of communal worship is very welcome to do so.

Get your motor running
Head out on the highway
Looking for adventure
Or whatever comes our way .........
Go and make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace.

The (Porsche) power and the glory for ever and ever .....

Amen.

Best regards.

Zeusy.

P.s. The next Early Sunday Morning Shakedown (date to be arranged) will be the matchless utterly breath taking and totally exhilarating CIRCUIT DE LINCS LA SARTHE .
