Hi to all
As per the title really.
Ive just sold my Cayman R and I am now looking to buy a Spyder.
If anyone on here is looking to sell please get in touch.
Thanks
Dave

There are a few on PH at present from £67 K depends on what is your ideal spec Also do not dismiss the 987 but coming from the R may not be a big difference driving wise ...

The one at £67K I know the 1st owner and history .

Hi

thanks for the response.

Got my heart set on the 981 Spyder , as you correctly say , don’t think the 987 Spyder would be different enough to warrant changing from the R.

The one on PH at £67k is a beautiful colour but missing a few of my must haves , especially buckets.

Im mulling over a couple of OPC ones , but haven’t found a perfect spec ( for me ) yet.

Hoping someone is looking to sell .

kind regards

Dave

It can be bit off a compromise .I sold my Red 981 Spyder a few months ago I specked it from new did not have Sat Nav/Blue Tooth and all said it is must haves .Sold in 24hrs the new owner did not worry it did not have those things a compromise on his part for a well priced car .It does drive differently from the R/Spyder feel from the steering on those is better IMO but the 981 noise on sport + is fantastic .If you get a chance why not try both

No doubt you have seen these

Hi

Fair point.

I‘m aware it’s a trade off between price , mileage , colour , spec etc .

Its just a question of finding one that ticks most of the boxes for me.

For me personally I’d like PCM , but I wouldn’t let it become a deal breaker.
