Hi,
My 968 cab roof has stopped working, I can here the motors working (bit noisy) but can only use roof manually. I was wondering if this is a common issue that has an easy fix? It seems that the motors are ok but the mechanism is not connected?

Thanks

Martin

Sounds like the clutches are out of adjustment, the roof is one of the most complex things on a 968, I would suggest a trip to a roof specialist or I think I have a roof manual somewhere if your a bit hands on

I have the roof manual as a pdf file. Where did Kate take her cab for repair after having the roof fly open at 70mph? Have a feeling it was Precision Porsche.

Hi Waylander,
Thanks for the post, If you have a pdf of the roof set up you can send, it would be appreciated. It's something i'll have a look at or go to a Porsche specialist for a fix in the coming weeks, I'm using the roof manually which is a small price to pay for cab. motoring on the sunny day's we have, but will get things fixed as they should be to get the car right.

Thanks

Martin

Thanks once again for your support.

Anyone had their cab hood refitted? Got a quote from carhood.com in the Midlands for just over a grand for parts and labour which I thought was reasonable.. anyone had any dealings?
