981 Boxster Prices

I read here that major services are only a little more than a £500 minor...he’s obviously been looking at the Porsche ‘fixed‘ pricing on the website.

Thats great news, I don't think it will be the same for 718 unfortunately.

My first major service on a 981 was over £1200.00 incl brake fluid. Note the fixed pricing doesn’t include opcs that are nearish to London. So cost double a minor service. I was surprised !

So that’s £1200 every four years (major) plus £600 every four years (minor). Which makes it £450/year for servicing. Seems reasonable to me.

The lists download first on my phone. Took a while. Agreed that costs average over the period, but still double the cost of a BMW. But sometimes you can’t put a price on special !

I cant find any prices listed on following this link, it does shows different Porsche models and when you click on the cars nothing happens, am I missing something else to do to see the price list?
When I click on the cars I get a document which first lists the service actions then the prices. I'm using Chrome on Windows 7.

Thanks Brian J, it seems that the list does not appear when looking on my iPad, but on my desktop I can see them.
One really interesting thing is that not all Porsche centres stick with these prices as I have just looked to book mine for the 4 year service and quoted different prices by different centres, one quoted bang on the menu price and another quoted a lot more for the same work, this inconsistency is not very helpful.

I checked with my manual and what was quoted was not necessarily consistent. My car had done 11k miles...so had plugs, brake fluid, and drive belt check. The last item was included on one quote and additional on another. (£180 or so). I note the Porsche website has now added the participating dealers list Which was not there earlier this year. It’s unessarily irritating when presented as ‘fixed price servicing !’

I managed to get into a 2014 981 Boxster GTS last July. Values have gone up since then by the look of the market at the moment. Hardly any available.????

well done! I had a 981 BGTS and traded it for a 991.2 GTS, the 991.2 was a lovely car with huge performance and hard to fault - but after a year I changed back to a 981 BGTS as it wasn't the car I wanted for day trips out. The 981 on the other hand is fantastic - sound and handling and something I can't define, but I enjoy it much more!

Hi thanks I had a 911 997 gen 2 nice car but this 981 boxster is a peach!!! so much better and puts a smile on my face
