It will not be long now, the car has been in Emden Port since yesterday, as long as the North sea is not too rough ??

So exciting.......My son's car leaves the factory today!!

I am so looking forward to the times that he is working away and I have to keep it ticking over. :ROFLMAO:

Has anyone been given a firm delivery date? Have any cars been delivered to UK customers? Sorry for all the questions, I was wondering if there are some delays!

My car is due for completion today so won't be available until mid April.[:(]

Leaving on Sunday for a Stuttgart Factory Visit on Tuesday and then onto Leipzig where we will have chance to drive the 992 on their test circuit.

I know of one customer who collected his on Monday and there are a few other lucky customers at Wilmslow.

I was told by Chester that my 4S could be with them late March or early April. They haven't contacted me since the beginning of March. Is that normal? Do I have to keep calling them to get an update?

I was also told last week of March or first week April! No car as yet

There seems to be a delay at Emden, mine has been sitting there for over 8 days now.

Well I don’t think they know, I presume they want to deliver it asap and get the money in their bank. So I am waiting, they have said they will call me when its left the factory! Fingers crossed, also that Brexit could have a role to pla.

I have been told that despite my 4S being in production since the beginning of March, it is still ‘in production’, with a ‘planned’ delivery date of 12 April and an ‘estimated’ delivery date of 24 May! Oh no....

Thanks Clive as always for pointing me in the right direction.

I have subscribed to the thread, and await any news with interest.

Still really enjoying my 991.1 Turbo S but looking ahead, I might even go green!

Cheers

Michael

I have been informed by Porsche Reading that all 992's are being delayed due to 'quality issues' expect delays; mine was a March build with an expected delivery now in May!!

Would be interesting to know the "quality issues" as our car was a March build, it left the factory on the 20th March and was delivered on the 19th April.
