Rear Luggage Cover

After months of looking I finally got myself a decent condition rear luggage cover. Just tried fitting it to the back of the rear seat, but the screw I was using was too long and wouldn’t go far enough into the seat back. Anyone able to point me in the right direction of what size screw to use please? I’m presuming it‘s actually going to be something fairly short with a large diameter head?

IIRC the screws were 40mm or so long when I last removed the roller blind to change the seats in my wife's car
 
Many thanks. One side went in fine, the other not so good. Right on the edge of the seat so seems to hit something non moving. i don’t have a point of reference, but presume the blind fits in line with the top of the seat back, not below it? Thanks
