Hi again, I have bought the Adrain Streather enthusiasts companion book which seems pretty basic but not much use for anything in depth.
Is there a better publication that you guys rely on for maintenance issues?

The Bentley Manuals are very highly regarded and coveted. Arguably the best but don't know for sure if they cover the 964 but would guess they do.
Expensive but worth it. Try eBay.

Thumbs up for the Bentley tech data manual - key info there. The pdf workshop is about as tech/mechanical as you can get. What specifically are you needing - help nailing down an issue or just more engineering data/knowledge?

Thanks - yes will be on the lookout for a Bentley manual and if anyone has one....

Nothing specific - recently re-bought a 964 and just getting ready to do some renovation- suspension first then other bits. I'll photograph it all as well so aim to put together some colour how-to guides over the months.
Most old books have crappy and grainy photography - very few decent modern guides around which i find surprising seeing how much traction the older models are now getting. Suggests people are letting the specialists and stealers do everything i guess.

Most of the guides are online now, pelican parts has some and rennlist has probably the best collection. You have to hunt around my main online 964 resources are this site, 911uk, pelican parts and rennlist. There arent many videos but lot of written guides with pics. Of all the places rennlist is the best imho, though this is great place for specific questions and tips.

I agree there's a wealth of info on Rennlist.
Do you know that Club House has a copy of the 964 workshop manual and will copy out sections for us.

I have pdf copies too of the workshop manuals. If you want a link to them pm your email address and ill send you a link..
