Our first Breakfast Meet of the year will be on Sunday 7th April at The Crew Room, Denham Aerodrome, Hangar Road, Denham UB9 5DF from 10.00am to midday.
The Crew Room offers snacks, bacon rolls or full cooked breakfasts along with a selection of tea, coffee and soft drinks. If the weather is good there is plenty of outdoor seating which gives a chance to watch the aerial activity taking place and it is an event that is suitable for all of the family.
There is a large car park so plenty of opportunity to have a good look around all of the members' cars. No need to book, just turn up on the day.

I miss this event, its a good way to start the spring months but its a long way to come back to do it! For anyone in any region its a great event and I cant recommend it enough[:)] Hope the weather stay dry, its autumn here and its still in the mid 30s and no sign of rain yet!

Thanks for your comments Brad, we miss seeing you at our events. Do you have similar activities in Australia?

The club here in WA is very small we have around 250-300 members of which probably 70 odd are regulars to events etc. We have a monthly club meeting at Cottesloe Life Saving Club right on the beach so very pleasant and you free sausage sizzle BBQ & salads during the summer months and buffet during the winter plus a free drink at the bar. They are very active in motorsport with several track days during the year with other car clubs mainly Holden, social runs every month normally to a restaurant or winery for lunch but fairly long mileage ( 150-240 miles mostly on back roads with higher speed limits as its 110 Klms/Hr max), a few weekends away down south say 200-280 miles away. The odd visit to an independent Porsche garage or body shop. OPC Perth are not into the club in any great way which is a disappointment but do sponsor our concours in November, which I won in my class last year! The club started a monthly Cars & Coffee about 3 years ago by the Swan River in Perth which we go to every month but that has got so big its now run independently, over 500 cars each month of all varieties. Usually there are at least 3 events a month. Its very friendly and they made me feel very welcome but keep trying to get me more involved in the running of the club at my age I don't need it! There are a wide variety of cars here quite a few 356s in concours condition, lots of the latest Caymans, Boxsters, 911s (many latest Gt3s etc.) and Cayennes & Macans, there's a lot of money in the club as most members have a number of cars both Porsche and others of the Italian, USA or Australian persuasion.[:)]
