On Saturday 13th April R9 has been invited to visit Nielsen Chemicals (www.nielsenchemicals.com) by Tony Brealey following a suggestion by R9 member Ian Ford.

The day will start at 9am with a breakfast supplied by Nielsen at their premises in Swadlincote with the visit starting at 10am. Further refreshments will be available throughout the day from a local catering company, the Wolfhut. The day will finish at approximately 2pm.

The purpose of the visit is to learn about the products Nielsen manufactures, these being automotive cleaning products, and how to best use them to make our pride and joys look their best.

In the past Nielsen has primarily sold to the automotive industry, but now sells to retail as well and they are extremely confident in their products quality, Tony having worked for Autoglym previously, and Nielsen recently celebrating it's 50th anniversary.

With this visit we would be following in other PCGB regions visiting to learn all about the Nielsen range of products, and that Tony is Porsche enthusiast himself having owned several cars in the past and a tractor too.

As Nielsen are being kind enough to offer a free coffee and bacon roll we need to confirm visitor numbers as soon as possible. With this in mind could you please let Tom Downes R9 Assistant know as soon as possible via tphd74@aol.com.
