Idle curiosity - is D911UJH still on the road?

Hi
I drive a 993 these days, but a post about someone's first proper drive in a 911 reminded me of mine, a 1987 black 3.2 Coupe, driving from London to Devil's Bridge in Wales. I had the car for about 10 years, and still miss it. I'd have kept it if the missus had let me but she was annoyed enough about me turning up in a newer version (I hadn't told her I was buying a 993 lol)
Which made me wonder, is it still on the road?
Reg. was D911UJH.
It had had an engine rebuild and the gearbox was solid so there's a reasonable chance it is, does anyone know it?
Cheers

Hi Johnny, I have checked the 911 Carrera 3.2 Register and can see it there, although I have the suspicion it is your entry. Can you confirm you still have listed in your Club Profile under My Porsches?
It may also appear again under another name, with a personal number, any chance you know the last four digits of the VIN and I can check it for you. Steve

Hi Steve
Yes it's still on My Porsches. I didn't know that feature was on here. Last 4 digits are 0558.
I better put my new one on, partly because the VIN on the windscreen has faded and the MOT chap got shirty last year when he couldn't read it.

Hi, Just double checked the Register and your old entry for 0558 is the only one recorded, unfortunately I can't help locate it at this time.
I hadn't thought of it before, perhaps many members keep their previous cars on the Club system as a record of what they have owned. My understanding of that section is to record the current Porsche/s owned by the members so the Registers and Club hold an up-to-date list. If you are adding your 993 I'm sure Maurice will be pleased and, if you take the 3.2 off it will keep my Register 'straight'.
I'll add a note that you would like to be contacted if a new owner of 0558 turns up on the Register? Cheers Steve

Cheers Steve I'll update it and delete D911UJH (sob)

I suspect a lot of casual posters don't realise the data is on here in My Porsche, does it get set up for you when you join PCGB?

Generally when you join PCGB some detail is taken and recorded about your car, if you are lucky to own two or more cars maybe only one is entered. Registers rely on owners to add missing detail, such as the VIN and Engine Number (or whole cars!), as this information isn't usually to hand if signed up at a Club event. I'm even missing body colour for many on the list, as you may have read recently in our Register column in PP. It isn't possible for me to edit the Club data as we only get read only access to the information, it is down to you kind lot out there to make the Register record meaningful.

If anyone else would like to update their car entry, sign in and visit My Porsches here (www.porscheclubgb.com/my-account)

Thanks for reviewing your data.

Have you noticed in peoples footer they record their previous, and much missed, cars? Perhaps you can keep the memory of D911 UJH alive there?
Steve

Hi Kevin, thanks for raising this fact, and for visiting the site to check your data in 'My Porsches'.
I'll contact Clubhouse and get the missing fields reintroduced. Steve

No field for colour?
Hi Kevin, an update, phase one of missing fields have gone off to the developers to be reintroduced/added. I'll confirm when available. Steve

I mentioned I'd let you know when the body colour data field was made available again. Its happened, the developers in conjunction with Club have done their thing, there are a couple of other additions - please take a look...
To update your car entry, sign in and visit My Porsches from here (www.porscheclubgb.com/my-account) Thanks for all updates provided, they are much appreciated by the Register.
Steve

I didn't realise you can check MOT history. That's quite handy, when looking at buying a car you can see how often it's failed and what it failed for.

D911UJH has no records, and a quick google showed a link with the reg to a site called carnapper which suggests it was somewhere to post details of stolen cars. However the site is no longer available.
