North Wales Porsche

Hi all,
A quick question regarding my 2004 986 2.7ltr Boxster..... it's a fabulous car, lovely to drive and in excellent condition. Last year I got the exhaust bypass from Revolution Porsche in Brighouse but it really is too noisy for me. Am looking to fit a stainless steel exhaust but would love to hear from other owners on their recommendations.

Also can anyone recommend a Porsche garage in North Wales?

Many thanks

Robinsky

Try OCD Porsche. They are only on the Wirral and excellent service. I take my road car and race car to them and I'm North Wales based.

Hi there Robinsky
Am considering the revolution porsche exhaust mod for our 987S but not sure. Its a pity we're not closer as it would be great to hear it first hand. I'm in Yorkshire

Hi Tom,

They are great at Revolution Porsche and the mod is a good cheap option. It's just a bit too raspy for me.... send me a private message and I will send you a video clip so you can see what I mean. Best regards Robin

Why dont you try and quieten it a little at a time until its where you want it. If I understand correctly the mod is just a couple of external by pass tubes. If this is the case all that needs to happen is squash the tube in one spot a small amount at a time, say 50% to start with as its not a linear effect. Some heat a hammer and dolly will do it.

Andy, thanks again.... I had a breakdown (faulty alternator) earlier in the week and the guys at OCD were brilliant.... the start of a long term relationship me thinks!
