Is it too early to mention Rutland Water?

..would be a good opportunity to compare gearbox noises [:)]
Of course I might be persona non grata - might have to come in the 911 if the 944 isn't fixed

going by the lack of replies Ed, I guess the answer is 'yes', it's too early, some might add the event is too early in the year too....I'll get my coat...:)

Let’s have a date proposed so we can check diaries. Long way from Dorset, if I recall.

I wasn't going to post anything more after the rapturous reception I got..
Sunday 24th March?
Any weekend in April (not 21st - Easter)

Hi Ed.. is that an official date or suggestion?.. I would like to try to make it if we can have an agreed on date? Weather is always an issue but since the UK climate is warming up who knows what it may be on the day?

Just suggestions - There's nothing "official" as there are no officials :) We're a decentralised collective

ah...ok, well I'll keep an eye open for whatever's decided by the collective.....:)

I won't be able to make it unless it's in April this year. I'll keep an eye on the thread for any dates etc.

As an alternate (is that allowed?!) I was going to suggest/ask who's up for the Transaxle day at Goodwood this year. It's much later in the year mind (3rd August)... I've been the last two years and although we get a bit of stick from the 968 folk (apparently we've hijacked their event), it's a great day out. I can offer a meeting point about an hours drive away (on 'interesting' roads) for anyone coming out from London or down from the North.

We go in may now Phil, it's still a Brighton and Hove motor club event,

And we do something different in August, last year we had a guided tour and day out at the DeHaviland Mosquito Museum, this year we are going to a round of the BTCC,

I was at the classic show at the excel last week and was told at the PCGB stand that to park in the carpark with the other transaxles at Goodwood you will have to be a PCGB member and have to pay to park anywhere else

Another meet that won't last long now that PCGB have got involved

Hmm...and here's me thinking Goodwood would be fun.. .so scrub that...keep us updated re the Hove group meet. ..I need to get out more with the car this year...

Pete,
It's an open day, with sprint racing with Brighton and Hove motor club, this is in may

No entrance or parking or membership requirements we have a good day out if you want to come join us the few from this side meet up at shell garage at Brentwood
Then round the 25 and down the m23 then a quick hoon across the A272 to Goodwood

And the BTCC round will be August at possibly the fastest track of the year Thruxton, when I checked tickets were £25

Ok...sounds like fun....I'll keep an eye open for a firm date..

Cheers

Pete

11th of May Pete

No invites or crap needed it's open to anyone, it's Brighton motor club and Goodwood track we just arrange to meet there, it's only PCGB that broke it for everyone

Ok...I'll try to be free...if you are going M25 from Brentwood perhaps we could meet at South Mimms if you don't mind stopping on route....If that's ok with you....I'll confirm nearer the time if I can make it..

Pete
