Goodbye and good luck.

Well after only one year, I have unfortunately got to say goodbye to my 997, sad to see it go but I really needed to get something a bit more practical for everyday.

Not left the Porsche badge behind completely as have traded it in for a fully loaded Macan S which I have to say was a lot more impressive than i thought it would be.

I can also now easily get my golf clubs in the back with out having to play tetris to do it, so another added bonus.

I wish all you 997 drivers hassle free motoring and all the best for the future.

One thing is for sure when I am older and have a bigger garage and more funds I will definitely be back in a 911.

See you around

D

Good luck to you too, Derek. Great to see you're sticking with the marque and, presumably, the Club. I'm sure Mike Allen will make you most welcome on the Macan register. I agree 911s and golf clubs aren't necessarily the best combo.[;)]

Hello Derek,
Well one registers' loss is another one's gain of course.
Please email me at macan@porscheclubgb.com and I'll get you suitably enrolled!
Regards,
Mike Allen
Macan Register Secretary
